Welcome to MyFaithPath. By downloading, installing, or using the MyFaithPath mobile application (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. About the App

MyFaithPath is a faith-based companion app that provides AI-generated devotionals, Bible reading tools, a spiritual journal, prayer guidance, and an AI chat assistant. The App is designed to support and complement your personal faith journey — it is not a substitute for professional counseling, therapy, or pastoral guidance.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use MyFaithPath. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you should use the App with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

3. Account and Data

MyFaithPath does not require account creation. Your data (preferences, journal entries, chat history) is stored locally on your device. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and backing up your data.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Free tier: MyFaithPath offers limited free features, including a daily message limit for AI chat.

Premium subscription: Unlocking unlimited access requires a paid subscription, available as monthly or annual plans. Subscriptions are managed through Apple’s App Store.

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device’s Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
  • No refunds are provided for partial billing periods. Refund requests must be made through Apple.

5. AI-Generated Content

MyFaithPath uses artificial intelligence to generate devotionals, chat responses, and spiritual guidance. Please be aware that:

  • AI-generated content is for inspirational and educational purposes only.
  • Responses may occasionally contain inaccuracies or misinterpretations of biblical text.
  • The App does not replace professional theological study, pastoral counseling, or mental health services.
  • You should always verify Bible references and consult trusted spiritual leaders for important matters of faith.

6. Acceptable Use

When using MyFaithPath, you agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful or harmful purpose
  • Attempt to manipulate or abuse the AI chat system
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Share or distribute content from the App in a way that misrepresents its source
  • Use automated tools to interact with the App

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and functionality of MyFaithPath are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without our written permission.

Bible text content is provided through third-party APIs and is subject to the respective Bible translation’s copyright and usage terms.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

MyFaithPath is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

  • The App will be available at all times without interruption
  • AI-generated content will be error-free or theologically comprehensive
  • The App will meet all of your specific spiritual needs

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MyFaithPath and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. This includes, but is not limited to, damages for loss of data, spiritual distress, or reliance on AI-generated content.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App at any time, for any reason, without prior notice. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or by updating the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
